MARIA'S TEA ROOM
Enjoy Coffee Time in the Old World
Maria’s Tea Room is open in the historic Scholte House in Pella, the home of Pella’s founder, Hendrik Pieter Scholte and his wife, Maria. Along with a dose of Dutch goodies comes a piece of sad Pella history.
While you enjoy a Dutch "kaffie tijd" with items from Pella's bakeries, meat markets, and chocolate makers, you'll hear the story of Maria Scholte, her precious pieces of Delft, and how they ended up making a path from her old house to her new one. In addition, you'll be able to view those original pieces that were her connection to the Old World.
Maria’s Tea Room is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, by reservation only, with seatings at 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Well-behaved children age 5 and older are welcome. The cost is $12 per person.
Reservations can be made at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (641) 628-1541. As our food is ordered a day ahead, we must have reservations by noon the day before; however, we encourage reservations at least a week in advance.
Reservations are now available beginning Wednesday, June 3.
